Identical twins Angela Tallon and Joanne Harding grew up living in some of the country’s hottest climates.

Watching their mother battle skin cancer and having children of their own inspired the former Toowoomba residents to launch their own brand of sunscreen, New Day Skin, designed specifically for teenagers.

“Now that the Cancer Council have declared teens as a priority population for the slip, slop, slap, seek and slide message we are more determined than ever to bring about positive chance to attitudes towards sun protection” Ms Tallon said.

It’s been a labour of love for the Downlands alumni, who spend two-and-a-half years developing the products between raising five children between them.
